Alexis Burnett

Alexis Josette Louise Burnett is an Associate Attorney at Benjamin and Shapiro, LTD, where she practices personal injury litigation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

Alexis is dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others, taking pride in guiding clients through the legal process with compassion, clarity, and care. She is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers’ Association, and the Cook County Bar Association.

Outside of the office, Alexis enjoys traveling, exploring Chicago’s arts scene, staying active through fitness, spending time with family and friends, and spending time outdoors.
